THE BEST DOSA IN LONDON!! Having been to many south indian restaurants in London, I can say with confidence this one takes the top spot. Their Podi Dosa, smothered in ghee, is the most delicious dosa I have ever had. A must try item on their menu and one that I will happily make a 1.5hr return trip for again. We also tried their rassam vada, set dosa, rava kesari & filter coffee and felt that each one of these was cooked, presented & served to perfection. More importantly, their prices are very reasonable and every staff member we interacted with came across super friendly, courteous and a delight to speak to. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED south indian restaurant in London & our favourite one yet.

We visited MTR on a lazy Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the taste, service and high quality of food. The place is authentic, friendly and quick. Highly recommend the benne and saagu dosas, the sambhar vadai and Bisibele Bath. The quality as well as the taste of the food is quite unparalleled. MTR definitely has the best South Indian food in London. Riya was extremely friendly and accommodating, making the experience all the more smooth and memorable for our parents, who were visiting us from India.

The dining experience was exceptional, characterized by fresh and authentic flavors. Both the masala dosa and podi masala dosa were standout dishes, exhibiting brilliance in taste. The vada also impressed with its wonderful flavor profile, striking a perfect balance of spiciness and depth without overwhelming heat. Despite it being a bustling Sunday afternoon, the service was prompt and attentive, ensuring minimal wait times. The authenticity of the cuisine particularly stood out, promising a return visit solely for the sake of reliving those genuine flavors. Overall, the food left a lasting impression, with its flavorful and well-executed dishes complemented by efficient service, making it a definite go-to spot for future dining experiences.

An excellent place to have South Indian delicacies like dosa, idly, vada etc. We had bad experiences in many other South Indian restaurants where the food taste wasn't authentic. We really missed having idly-vada, which was our staple food back home. Here, idly-vada was just fabulous. Butter Masala dosa was delicious too. We also ordered Badam halva which was mouth watering. Filter coffee at the end, made a perfect breakfast after quite a while!

I have tried many South Indian Restaurants but not all are worth mentioned and referred. This restaurant food is really good, authentic and very tasty. To be honest, the ambience and the seating is nothing special or impressive but you will forget about them all when you get your food, promptly within 5 to 10 mins. Menu is not complicated. They do have authentic few items that definitely needs to be tried. We have decided that we would come here regularly. On top of tasty food, prices are really really reasonable. Definitely worth trying.

The real karnataka dosa and every preparation reminds the days in Bangalore. Do not miss Vada, Rava Idly. There could be a bit of waiting, but it's worth it!
